Wouldn't it be nice ...

... if we were allowed to touch sculptures in museums?  

I have always thought how unfair it is that we can only watch, not feel. Isn't that what sculpture should be all about? Stretching out your hands and then ... touching. Exploring your feelings through closed eyes and hungry fingertips? Texture, smoothness, coldness. Slippery, rough.  Revisiting the sensation the artist had when they created it for us?

I would love that.

yes! i would love that! i have felt it so many times in greek museums! ( between us i toughed the leg of Kouros in Delphi. i was only a little girl and i think that i fell in love... there was an awe there...)

Absolutely. Sculpture is made to be experienced and not just looked at.
