Even in art, history repeats itself. Every day - beauty is born out of what we already know. What is added is a new way of looking, of sensing.  Do you feel it takes away the pressure of having to be completely original when you create? Does it alleviate that feeling of guilt, that you're copying, stealing, borrowing? For me, it remains a struggle which often ends in paralysis.
